Believlng in a fishermen report, speaking of a route Inside the mountain leading to a big lake, I discovered with Marco Oliverio and Alessandra Novelli, this beautiful cave. Creeping along the ground, crawling on all fours, at least standing up, we walked close by any kind of marvellous rock formations, small sandy beaches, rocky needles, towers, arabesques. Finally the lake! After a swim in its warm waters (24°c) we noticed an opening in the bottom. Outside, in shallow water was the underwater entrance: a very low horizontal opening leading to the main cuniculus where we found white sulphureous waters. At the beginning there was a rocky bottom, after a right angle bend with columns and stalagmites, It became muddy. We were on the way! Arriving at a solitary column, where the sulphureous spring comes out, we started ascending toward the lake surface. I'll never forget the moment me and Marco reached Alessandra waiting for us in the cave. I hanged an uncomfortable grey plastic tube where a brown fishing rope was rolled up. The serious reels were far to come. Ollvler Isler and Claude Touloumdjlan, very famous cave divers, appreciated a lot when I took them to this cave, during the International Meeting 'Speleoduemila".
